TEN HOW’S:

How did you get one of your scars? i was walking on a railing by the road as a kid, slipped and scraped up my knee on a rusty piece of metal sticking out from a post. thank god i had my tetanus shot.

How did you celebrate your last birthday? my mom and i went for dinner to daveed’s, then we went to see ella (musical about ella fitzgerald) at playhouse in the park.

How are you feeling at this moment? very tired. i’ve just spent way too much money on clothes for a wedding i’m going to tomorrow.

How did your night go last night? rather better than expected. i was tired, didn’t feel like going out, and felt kind of crabby, but once i got to the pub with richard, john, lynne and gareth (and gareth), i found myself having a really great time.

How did you do in high school? i graduated with honors. academically, i did okay. socially, meh.

How did you get the shirt you’re wearing? i think i purchased it at target. i don’t remember.

How often do you see your best friend? not often enough.    he lives in chicago.

How much money did you spend last month? not much. the better question would be to ask how much money i spent this month. and we’re only a week in.  sheesh.

How old do you want to be when you get married? this question is kind of moot.

How old will you be at your next birthday? 32. just another birthday.

NINE WHAT’S:

What did you do last weekend? went shopping, ran errands, nothing too strenuous.

What is the most important part of your life? experiencing new things; food, places, blogs, people, etc.

What would you rather be doing right now? i’m pretty happy where i’m at right now.

What did you last cry over? Barack Obama winning the presidency. (stealing bellaventa’s answer on this one, because my answer is the same.)   i don’t cry often, but i definitely shed a few tears of happiness in the wee hours on wednesday morning, november 5th (which is when i saw the election results in glasgow).

What’s the most important thing you look for in a significant other? their ability to “get” me; that is, their willingness to understand what makes me tick, and why i am the way i am.  also, their willingness to explain those things to me.  apparently i should be dating a psychologist.

What are you worried about? making my car payment at the end of the month. seeing as i have no income at the moment, it’s a great cause for concern for me.  oh, and trying to get all of my stuff back home.

What did you have for breakfast? tea. healthy, no?

Have you ever liked someone who had a girlfriend/boyfriend? yes.

Have you ever had your heart broken? yes.

Have you ever been out of the country? duh.

Have you ever done something outrageously dumb? it’s possible, but again, that whole “living my life without regrets” thing precludes me from feeling like i’ve made a dumb decision. others may disagree with me….

Have you ever been back stabbed by a friend? yes.

Have you ever dated someone younger than you? a few times.

Have you ever read an entire book in one day? it happens a lot, actually.

Who was the last person you saw? a bunch of glaswegians outside the flat.

Who was the last person you texted? sam.

Who was the last person you hung out with? sam, for about 15 minutes before he left for his friend’s house. before that, it was richard, john, lynne, gareth and gareth last night at the state.

Who was the last person to call you? probably sam.

Who did you last hugged? john.

Who is the last person who texted you? sam.

Who was the last person you said “I love you” to? my friend alex.

SIX WHERE’S:

Where does your best friend(s) live? chicago.

Where did you last go? to fraser’s to get some pantyhose to wear to tomorrow’s wedding.

Where did you last hang out? the state.

Where did you go to school? yikes. right, from the beginning: newtonsville kindergarten, st. louis, calvary christian, clermont northeastern, university of cincinnati (uc) main campus, uc raymond walters campus, university of phoenix.

Where is your favorite place to be? in someone’s arms.

Where did you sleep last night? sam’s bed (or my temporary bed, i suppose).

FIVE DO’S/DOES:

Do you like someone right now? yes.

Do you think anyone likes you? i think so.

Do you ever wish you were someone else? no, but there are times when i wished that i possessed certain qualities of other people i know.

Do you know the muffin man? is that the guy that lives on drury lane? i heard he’s a real asshole, kinda  like the soup nazi.

Does the future scare you? before tuesday, i’d say yes. today, i’d say i’m more excited and interested than scared.

FOUR WHY’S:

Why are you best friends with your best friend(s)? because we have a long history together, and through various times in our lives, he was the only person that i had that i could talk to about my life, and vice versa.

Why did your parents give you the name you have? i have no idea.

Why are you happy? can’t say that i’m happy at the moment, but i can’t say i’m sad either.  i’m mostly just…”meh.”

Why are you doing this survey? because i like filling in forms. and because right now my brain isn’t giving me what i need to blog about something more substantial.

THREE IF’S:

If you could have one super power what would it be? the ability to stop unwanted body hair from growing back. i’d save thousands of dollars on razors and shaving cream, and tons of time spent in the shower. imagine the possibilities!

If you could go back in time and change one thing, would you? hmm…no.

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could bring one thing what would you bring? a satellite phone.

TWO WOULD-YOU-EVER’S:

Would you ever get back together with any of your exes if they asked you? maybe only one of them, but there are a LOT of things that would have to be different for that to occur, so i could say yes, but the chances of it happening are slim to none.

Would you ever shave your head to save someone you love? yes. i don’t love my hair that much, and i’ve often considered shaving it anyway.

Are you happy with your life right now? i don’t really have anything to complain about.
