i found this video over at feministe.
i may or may not have my own children one day. regardless of this fact, this does not mean that i don’t find (most) children really cute. and when i hear children speaking in another language? somehow, it amps up the “cute” factor by, like, a hundred thousand. don’t believe me? check out this video of The World’s Most Cutest Little Girl:
update: apparently this video is starting to go viral on sites like boingboing and videogum. someone decided to entitle it “Amélie, Jr.” which i think is entirely appropriate. those of you who love audrey tautou will understand and probably agree.

Hey there! Loved the video. The french kids here aren’t always as sweet as her but they sound so freakin cute. Isa’s picked up that accent from the kids at school. I’ll have to tape her in french so she can see it when she’s older.
And one more thing, if we hear Obama won at 4am and question if we can start the champagne.. “Yes, we can!” What an amazing day! but I was sad to hear about CA- Prop 8…Hope you are liking Scotland…and I can’t wait to see more men in kilts.
absolutely you can start the champagne! i think obama getting elected is one of the better things to happen to our country in a long time.
i was also sad to hear about prop 8, but seeing as there was a point when my parents’ interracial marriage wouldn’t be legal (and now is), i have high hopes that at one point gay marriage will also be legal. we may take a step back or two (or three) but we’ll get there eventually.
i like scotland a lot, and will miss it when i return home. hope you’re liking france; looking for updates on your blog!
