i don’t think that i’m particularly ambitious…i just like the busyness of working in a larger company. the thing i’ve discovered is that it’s only a “rat race” if you decide to be one of the rats. i’m of the belief that you can work for the rat race and still maintain a healthy distance.

although i have no idea what this job will bring, so i could be completely off base and will end up eating my words…..

You’re a much stronger person than me by giving corporate america a chance. As an intern in college, I worked for one of the big 4 accounting firms (in the east coast) for 6 months and on the last day of my job- I was thrilled to be done and promised myself to never come back there or corporate america unless I really had to- as in if someone put a gun to my head. It’s too cut-throat for an average jane like myself.
