i am a 32 year old single female…my nationality is canadian/american, and my ethnicity is japanese/german. go figure.

i love traveling, especially non-touristy trips, where i get to know the local people and establishments. if you don’t live in cincinnati, it’s possible that i may become friends with you because i want to hang out with you wherever you live. but i promise i don’t just like you because you don’t live in cincinnati. it may be because you have really cool pets.

i am not, by any stretch, a great writer (truth is, i think it’s downright boring sometimes), but i DO find it cathartic, and so i’ve been blogging since 2004 (or as some might say: long after i should have stopped).

i’m lazy about capitalizing words unless it’s absolutely necessary. that can be attributed mostly to the amount of time i used to spend on talkers, where capitalizing is a waste of time (unless it’s absolutely necessary). of course, this has spurned years of emails and blog entries going uncapitalized, and what used to be a habit has now become my “thing”…if you count bad grammar (is it grammar, though, really?). but hey, at least it’s better than all caps, right?

i am prone to: feminist rants, staying up too late, and bouts of ADD (which usually results in you telling me something that you may have told me several times already, because the first time you were telling me, my mind started wandering after you said the first two words).

all of my links open in new windows, because i personally can’t stand it when i click on a link, ADD kicks in, then i click another, then another, then another, and before i know it, i have to hit the “back” button 10 times to get back to where i started.  i usually have about 20 tabs open in firefox at a time.  heh.

oh, and i really love parentheses.
